At the core of the H-535's spectacular dynamic range are the all-new, in-house wound Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers . Inspired by Kalamazoo's most iconic vintage dual-coils, these pickups are built with authentic vintage components—including 42 AWG plain enamel wire in the neck, 43 AWG poly wire in the bridge, and roughcast Alnico 5 magnets. They deliver everything from velvety, smokey jazz warmth to raw, biting rock-and-blues clarity. Plus, with potted covers, you can crank your favorite tube amp or high-gain pedalboard with total stability and minimal unwanted feedback.

Expanded Tonal Horizons: Series/Parallel Switching

While the H-535 sings with traditional humbucking depth, it introduces a major upgrade under the hood: modern push/pull tone pots that engage a series/parallel switching system. This lets you effortlessly tap into the bright, articulate, and punchy textures of a single-coil voice completely seamlessly—and most importantly, without the annoying drop in volume that plagues traditional split-coil designs.

Flawless Playability & Traditional Build

The acoustic foundation of the H-535 is constructed from a premium laminated curly maple top, back, and solid curly maple rims, supported by a solid center block. This classic semi-hollow anatomy gives you a punchy, snappy note attack and rich natural resonance while working to actively eliminate stage feedback.

• '60s C Neck Profile: Crafted from genuine mahogany, the neck offers a familiar, slim contour that sits comfortably in the hand for all-night gigging comfort.
• Rosewood Fingerboard: A traditional 12-inch radius fingerboard is fitted with 22 Jescar medium-jumbo frets, offering glass-smooth string bends and immaculate intonation across the entire register.
• Nitrocellulose Finish: Sprayed with a gorgeous, high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer in a timeless Original Sunburst, the guitar is designed to breathe, vibrate freely, and age beautifully the more it is played.
