The NUX NOD-1 Horseman is a mini-core overdrive pedal designed as a pocket-sized homage to the iconic Klon Centaur. It combines both vintage transparent boost and high-gain drive voices into a single ultra-compact enclosure using an internal voltage-doubling circuit.

• Two Overdrive Modes in One:
  • Gold Mode: Mimics the classic, transparent output of the original Gold Centaur pedal for clean boosting or smooth drive.
  • Silver Mode: Activates an extended gain range for a more saturated, powered-up overdrive tone.
  • Mode Switching: Toggle between Gold and Silver modes simply by holding down the footswitch.
• Internal 18V Charge Pump: Uses an internal OP-AMP voltage converter to step up standard 9V power to 18V. This increased supply voltage delivers massive headroom, dynamic touch response, and richer harmonic content.
• Dual-Ganged Gain Potentiometer: The Gain control is a dual potentiometer that simultaneously sweeps gain level while shaping bass and middle frequency content for dynamic balance.
• Schottky Diode Clipping: Replicates vintage waveform clipping characteristics using specially selected Schottky diodes to achieve natural amp-like drive.
• Selectable True / Buffer Bypass: Holds a setup mode on startup to switch between True Bypass (Red LED) to keep your signal untouched, or Buffer Bypass (Green LED) to prevent high-end loss across long cable runs and crowded pedalboards.
