The Solid Studio MKII doesn't just replicate a speaker cabinet; it simulates an entire recording chain. It is divided into three primary sections:

• Cabinet Simulation: Choose from 8 legendary speaker cabinets, ranging from vintage 1x12 combos to massive 4x12 stacks.
• Power Amp Simulation: Recreate the specific harmonic character and "sag" of three different power tube types (EL34, 6V6, or EL84).
• Microphone Placement: Select from 8 industry-standard microphones and adjust their position (Center, Edge, or Distance) relative to the speaker for precise tonal shaping.

Advanced IR Technology

The MKII features high-resolution IR loading capabilities, allowing you to import your own third-party Impulse Responses via USB. It processes these with ultra-low latency and 24-bit resolution, ensuring that the "feel" and "thump" of a real speaker cabinet are preserved. It also includes a dedicated DI output with a ground lift to ensure a noise-free signal to the front-of-house mixer.
