The Divided Drive is a meticulously engineered dual-stage overdrive and compressor pedal, directly inspired by the legendary early 1990s guitar rig of Trey Anastasio. This single stompbox captures the dense, harmonically rich, and endlessly sustaining sound that defined that era's tone.

The Sound: Stacking for Sonic Nirvana

The core concept is replicating the famous technique of cascading two Tube Screamer-style overdrives into a compressor:

The Divided Drive recreates this complex setup using three independent circuits, all housed in one enclosure:

1. Dual Overdrive Circuits (Modified Serenity Style):
   • The two drive circuits are based on the now-discontinued Serenity Overdrive, a minimalist Tube Screamer variant. This focus on only the essential gain and tone sections ensures purity and clarity.
