A seriously cool vintage Marshall with genuine touring history.
This 1970s Marshall 1960A Lead 4×12 was used on the road with LIVE and comes with its matching LIVE-branded touring case. Built in Bletchley, England, the cabinet features the classic angled 4×12 design, black Tolex and checkerboard grille cloth that defined the Marshall look of the era.
The cabinet is currently loaded with a quartet of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. These are replacement speakers rather than the original 1970s drivers—a practical upgrade made during the cabinet's life as working professional equipment.
This one has definitely been used. The cabinet shows authentic road wear throughout, including scuffs, Tolex wear, grille discoloration and aged hardware. The road case shows even more touring wear, with scratches, scars and an oversized LIVE logo across the front. We haven't attempted to cosmetically restore either piece.
It's a great opportunity for someone looking for a real vintage British Marshall 4×12 that can still be played, with an unusually interesting piece of rock-and-roll history thrown in.
