Santa Cruz OM/PW Pre-War – Natural – Sitka Spruce / Mahogany – Original Premium Hardshell Case

The Santa Cruz OM/PW takes the familiar Orchestra Model and voices it with the power and openness associated with great pre-war acoustics. Hand-built in Santa Cruz, California, this example pairs a finely grained Sitka spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge.

Under the top, Santa Cruz's advanced scalloped X-bracing gives the OM/PW considerably more authority than its compact dimensions suggest. It remains articulate and responsive enough for fingerstyle playing, but has the headroom, bass response and projection to handle a flatpick surprisingly well—a major reason the OM/PW has become one of Santa Cruz's enduring designs.

The 25.375" scale, 1¾" nut and V-profile mahogany neck with volute give it the traditional feel expected from the Pre-War series, while the understated violin-style purfling, tortoise-style pickguard and open-gear tuners keep the visual presentation elegant and purposeful.

This particular guitar is in excellent used condition and has been exceptionally well cared for. The natural finish has developed a beautiful warm color while the mahogany back and sides remain rich. No major cracks, repairs or structural damage are evident, and overall play wear is remarkably light.

Included is the premium fitted hardshell case, also in excellent condition.
