The Demonfx Tape Echo is a budget-friendly analog-voiced delay pedal modeled after the Keeley Magnetic Echo. It is designed to capture the warm, slightly degraded repeats and the unique pitch-shifting character of vintage reel-to-reel tape machines.

Tape Saturation & Modulation

The pedal specializes in "lo-fi" delay, where each repeat is slightly filtered to keep the echoes from interfering with your original dry signal.

• Wow and Flutter: The modulation section mimics a tape deck in poor condition. The Rate and Depth controls allow you to add a subtle pitch waver or a dramatic, lush chorusing effect to the trails.
• Self-Oscillation: By cranking the Regeneration control, the pedal can enter self-oscillation, creating atmospheric "runaway" echoes that you can manipulate in real-time by turning the Delay Time knob.
• Internal Preamp: It features an internal input gain trim pot, allowing you to add a touch of "crispness" or preamp-style saturation to the delays, similar to the behavior of an original Echoplex.
