Used Demonfx 83 Drive

The Demonfx '83 Drive is a dual-channel overdrive that combines two of the most iconic circuits in guitar history: the Marshall Bluesbreaker and the Klon Centaur.

The name is a nod to the birth year of John Mayer, as this "stacking" of a Bluesbreaker and a Klon is a foundational element of his modern blues-rock tone.

Two Iconic Sides

The pedal is divided into two independent circuits that can be used alone or combined for a thick, complex lead sound:

• Side A (Bluesbreaker): This side is a replica of the original 1990s "Black Box" Bluesbreaker. It is known for its transparent, glassy response. It includes a Lows toggle that allows you to add back some of the low-end frequencies that are often cut in vintage circuits.
• Side B (K-Drive): An exact replica of the Klon Centaur circuit. It delivers that legendary "golden" mid-range punch and can function as a high-headroom clean boost or a rich, harmonically complex overdrive. It features a Clipping toggle to switch between Germanium (vintage/compressed) or Schottky (modern/open) diodes
