The 2009 ESP Standard NV (often referred to as the NV-II / NV Standard) is a Japanese-built, sharp-angled V-style guitar from ESP's premier Standard Series lineup. Built at ESP’s Tokyo facility prior to the 2014 introduction of the "E-II" brand name, these guitars carry the coveted original "ESP" block logo on the headstock and are praised for high-end craftmanship.

Body & Neck Construction

• Construction: Neck-thru-body design for maximum sustain and uninterrupted access to the upper frets.
• Body Wings: Solid Alder wings attached to the center maple neck beam.
• Neck Material: 3-piece Maple with a fast, comfortable Thin U profile.
• Scale Length: Standard 25.5" scale length.
• Headstock: Reversed, bound headstock with matching body finish.

2. Fingerboard & Inlays

• Fingerboard Material: Bound Ebony fretboard with a 42mm locking nut.
• Frets: 24 Extra-Jumbo (XJ) frets.
• Inlays: Distinctive Iron Cross / Maltese Cross inlays across frets 1–12, transitioning to offset dot inlays on frets 15–24.

• Bridge equipped with a Kahler 2315 hybrid tremolo system
