Electro-Harmonix Hot Wax Dual Overdrive — Two distinctly different EHX overdrives packed into one remarkably flexible pedal. The Hot Wax combines the full-range Crayon circuit with the warmer, more amp-like Hot Tubes CMOS overdrive. Run either side independently or stack them for substantially more gain and compression. A master Bass/Treble EQ provides additional shaping, while the Blend control mixes the dry signal back into the overdriven tone—an especially useful feature for bass players who want to retain low-end definition. Analog circuitry, buffered bypass and standard center-negative 9V power operation. This example presents very well with only light evidence of previous use.
