Used Fender Super Sonic 60 amp head

The Fender Super-Sonic 60 Amp Head is an all-tube, 60-watt amplifier head engineered to deliver both iconic Fender vintage clean tones and saturated, modern high-gain overdrive in a single unit.

The Super-Sonic 60 features two independent channels:

1. Vintage Channel: Features two switchable voicings designed after classic Fender preamps:
   • Vibrolux Mode: Delivers bright, chimey cleans with an open top-end and punchy midrange.
   • Bassman Mode: Emulates the thick, warm, low-end resonant response of a 1966 Bassman circuit.
2. Burn Channel: Employs a cascading dual-gain preamp control scheme (Gain 1 and Gain 2). Adjusting Gain 1 alters pre-distortion compression and attack, while Gain 2 controls thick sustain and saturation—allowing for overdrive textures ranging from bluesy crunch to aggressive liquid lead tones.
