Used Fulltone OCD v.2

The Fulltone OCD V2 (Obsessive Compulsive Drive) is an iconic overdrive/distortion pedal known for producing touch-sensitive, amp-like gain. Combining an overdriven JFET op-amp with hard-clipping MOSFETs, it mimics the rich harmonics, sustain, and dynamic response of a cranked tube amplifier.

Key Improvements in Version 2

While maintaining the core overdrive circuit of the original OCD, Version 2 introduces key upgrades to improve signal integrity across pedalboards:

• Class-A JFET Input Section: Features a discrete 2N5457 JFET input that raises the input impedance from 330kΩ to 1MΩ. This increases dynamic range and improves clarity for both single-coil and humbucker pickups.
• Redesigned Output Buffer: Prevents tone sucking or impedance loading caused by subsequent pedals or long cable runs. It also reduces loading on the hard-clipping stage, increasing sustain.
• Enhanced Bypass™ Mode: An internal slide switch lets you choose between standard True Bypass and Fulltone’s Enhanced Bypass. Enhanced Bypass utilizes a Class-A FET configuration to preserve your signal's dynamic response without popping or mid/bass attenuation.
