A standout from Gibson’s late-Kalamazoo era, the ES-335 Pro was produced briefly from 1979 to 1981 as a rock-focused evolution of the classic 335. It combines the resonance and balance of a semi-hollow body with the power and clarity of Gibson’s high-output Dirty Fingers humbuckers.
This 1980 example, finished in original Cherry, features a three-piece maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, and chrome hardware. The maple neck and center block lend extra brightness and sustain, while the uncovered pickups deliver a biting, articulate tone perfect for blues, classic rock, or fusion.
Features:
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. All electronics and hardware are original and fully functional. Plays effortlessly with a lively, resonant acoustic response and classic semi-hollow warmth.
A rare and powerful variation on the ES-335 — bold, expressive, and unmistakably Gibson. Comes with OHSC.
