The Gibson J-45 Studio Rosewood Burst is a modern, performance-driven take on the classic "Workhorse." It retains the iconic round-shoulder dreadnought silhouette but swaps the traditional mahogany back and sides for rosewood, resulting in a more hi-fi sound with scooped mids and sparkling overtones.

While a standard mahogany J-45 is known for its "thump" and mid-range focus, the Rosewood Studio version is more "piano-like." You’ll notice more chime in the high end and a deeper, more resonant bass. The 24.75" scale length keeps the string tension lower than a long-scale dreadnought, making it feel "slinkier" and easier on the fingers.
