2001 Ibanez SA160QM Amber Made in Korea w/ Lollar HSS Pickups & Hardshell Case

Built in Korea at the World Musical Instrument factory in December 2000 for the 2001 model year, this Ibanez SA160QM is one of the earlier Korean-built examples of Ibanez's sleek SA design. Its deeply figured quilted-maple top is finished in transparent Amber over a lightweight, contoured mahogany body, paired with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.

The big upgrade here is the Lollar HSS pickup set, replacing the guitar's original Ibanez electronics and giving this SA a substantial tonal upgrade. The two single coils cover clear, articulate Strat-style territory while the bridge humbucker adds the output and body needed for rock, blues and higher-gain work. A 5-way selector, master volume and master tone keep the controls straightforward and versatile.

Other features include a 25.5" scale, approximately 15.75" fingerboard radius, 22 frets, Ibanez SAT30 tremolo and chrome hardware. The guitar remains remarkably clean for an instrument approaching 25 years old, with the quilted top presenting especially well and no major structural or cosmetic defects apparent.

Includes the hardshell case shown. Exact Lollar pickup models have not been verified, so we are conservatively identifying them simply as Lollar pickups rather than speculating about the individual models.
