Used Keeley D&M Drive

The Keeley D&M Drive is a dual-channel overdrive and boost pedal developed in collaboration with Dan Steinhardt and Mick Taylor from That Pedal Show. It is designed as a "complete drive workstation," offering a wide spectrum of tones from a clean, high-voltage boost to searing, high-gain leads.

The Two Faces of the Pedal

The D&M Drive is effectively two independent boutique pedals in one enclosure, each voiced to the specific preferences of its namesake:

• Mick’s Side (Boost/Overdrive): This is the "Mick" side, inspired by high-headroom, mid-pushed circuits (think a refined, high-voltage Tube Screamer or a Klon-style drive). It is designed to act as a "midrange clarifier," adding presence and "singing" sustain to a clean or slightly overdriven amp.
• Dan’s Side (Drive/Distortion): This is the "Dan" side, which offers a full-range gain stage. It ranges from a flat, honest overdrive suitable for chords to a heavily saturated, thick distortion that mimics a cranked British-style stack. It is often described as having an OCD or "Full Frequency Rat" character.
