The Greg is a boutique, all-tube signature combo amplifier designed by Koch Amps in the Netherlands in collaboration with American guitar master Greg Koch. Built specifically as a highly flexible, responsive stage-and-studio workhorse, it combines an incredibly expressive British-voiced EL34 power section with deep tone-shaping and analog effects.

• The Tube Compliment: Driven by a massive array of six 12AX7 preamp tubes and a matched pair of EL34 power tubes, delivering a solid 50 watts of output.
• Speaker Configuration: Outfitted with a unique pair of 2x10” Jensen Falcon C10-40 speakers, which provide tight, punchy low-end response and quick transient details that cut beautifully through a live mix.
• Three Footswitchable Channels:
  • Clean: Bright, sparkly, and chimey with a spanky mid-range and tremendous headroom. It stays crystal-clean at higher volumes without early breakup.
  • Overdrive: Bold, harmonically rich, and dynamic—tailored perfectly for gritty blues licks and classic rock crunch.
  • Overdrive Boost: Increases saturation and gain, adding raunchier dirt, sustain, and compression for singing lead tones.
• Power Scaling: Includes a front-panel Pentode (Full 50W Power) / Triode (Half Power) switch to let you push the power section into natural saturation at lower room volumes.

Advanced Features & Built-In Effects

• OTS (Output Tube Saturation) Circuit: One of the amplifier's coolest features is a foot-switchable, built-in 0.5-watt all-tube power amp circuit. Acting almost like an onboard tube-driven overdrive pedal in the loop, this allows you to add real power-amp sagging and harmonic distortion to any channel—even at low clean whisper volumes.
• Tube-Driven Tremolo & Reverb: Features a fully independent, foot-switchable tube tremolo with a toggle to switch between Harmonic and Normal pulsing modes. It is paired with a genuine long-scale model spring reverb tank complete with Dwell, Tone, and Volume controls.
• FX Sequence Switch: A dedicated toggle allows you to change the routing order of the onboard effects on the fly (Reverb > Tremolo or Tremolo > Reverb), creating a variety of unique, vintage 1960s ambient soundscapes.
• Professional Back Panel I/O: Features a premium buffered effects loop that can be toggled between series or parallel routing with an independent mix level control. It also includes a dedicated recording output with a passive speaker emulation filter to send a convincing mic'd cab signal directly to an interface or FOH PA system.
