Used Lovepedal Eternity Burst

The Lovepedal Eternity Burst is a legendary boutique overdrive that holds a massive reputation among tone purists. Originally designed by Sean Michael, the Eternity family of pedals has found its way onto the touring boards of heavyweights like Andy Summers (The Police) and Richard Fortus (Guns N' Roses).

While it shares some DNA with the Tube Screamer family, the Eternity Burst is a highly evolved, heavily modified take on the platform. It strips away standard design limitations to deliver an incredibly dynamic, three-dimensional, and touch-sensitive drive.

Standard Tube Screamer-style pedals run your guitar signal through an input buffer, split the clean and dirty signals, and use a standard passive tone control that cuts high-frequency treble. The Eternity Burst throws that formula out the window:

1. Direct Op-Amp Integration: The Eternity is designed so that your guitar's raw signal interacts almost directly with the main op-amp chip. This results in unbelievable touch sensitivity—you can completely control the amount of grit and breakup just by adjusting your guitar’s volume knob or changing your pick attack.
2. No Low-End Loss: Standard TS-style drives famously cut your bass frequencies to keep the mid-range tight. The Eternity retains your signal's original low-end fullness, keeping your tone fat and warm.
3. The "Glass" Control: Instead of a traditional passive tone knob, the Eternity features Lovepedal's proprietary Glass control.
