The Marshall 1962 JTM "Bluesbreaker" Reissue from 1998 is a highly sought-after, vintage-accurate recreation of Marshall’s first-ever combo amplifier. Cemented in music history by Eric Clapton during his historic 1966 "Beano" sessions with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, this 30-watt, 2x12 open-back beast is built for purists seeking early British blues-rock punch.

The Secret to the "Sag": Unlike modern high-gain amps, it utilizes a traditional GZ34 tube rectifier. When the amp is cranked, this tube creates a natural power-supply dynamic compression and "sag" that makes notes bloom beautifully under heavy picking attacks.

Speakers: Equipped with a pair of 12-inch Celestion G12M-25 Greenback speakers (16 ohms each, wired for an 8-ohm total load). These speakers are famous for a rich, vocal midrange and a soft high-end roll-off that prevents harshness when pushing the amp into saturation.

Classic 4-Input Layout: Features 2 distinct non-master-volume channels (Normal and High Treble) with High and Low sensitivity inputs for each.
