The MXR Carbon Copy Mini (M299) packs the dark, warm bucket-brigade analog delay of the original Carbon Copy into a compact, mini enclosure. Designed to maximize pedalboard space, it also incorporates the voicing of the Carbon Copy Bright directly onto the front panel via a side switch.

Key Features & Circuit Design

• Bucket-Brigade Technology (BBD): Uses classic 100% analog audio signal paths to produce organic, warm delay repeats that decay naturally without digital harshness.
• Dual Voicing (Standard & Bright):
  • Standard Mode: Delivers the dark, rich, atmospheric repeats of the original M169 Carbon Copy.
  • Bright Switch: Engages a high-frequency boost on the delay trail for extra articulation, presence, and clarity—bringing the character of the Carbon Copy Bright into the same pedal.
• Modulation: Pressing the top MOD button engages pitch modulation on the delay repeats, adding tape-like warble or lush chorus effects. Internal trim pots allow adjustment of the modulation speed and depth.
