Used NUX Steel Singer

The NUX Steel Singer Drive (part of the Reissue Series) is an analog overdrive pedal designed to capture the legendary "crystal clear" sustain and touch-sensitive response of the Dumbell Steel String Singer amplifier. It is often used as an "always-on" tonal sweetener or a low-to-mid gain lead boost.

Sonic Character

• California Clean: It provides a distinctively "tubey" character with a slight mid-range punch. It is designed to make your clean tone sound larger and more 3-dimensional without hiding the natural sound of your guitar.
• High Headroom: Unlike a typical Tube Screamer, the NUX Steel Singer maintains a high level of transparency. It excels at "edge of breakup" tones where the grit only appears when you dig into the strings.
• Sustain without Squashing: One of its primary goals is to provide the singing sustain associated with expensive boutique amps while maintaining a very fast, dynamic transient response.
