The 594 platform was designed to deliver vintage single-cut warmth, resonance, and playability with modern PRS precision. The name itself comes from its specific 24.594" scale length, engineered to match the broken-in feel of prized vintage 1950s instruments.

• Pattern Vintage Neck: Slightly asymmetric profile that is a bit thicker front-to-back than the standard Pattern neck, sitting comfortably in the palm.
• 58/15 LT Pickups: "Low Turn" vintage-voiced humbuckers designed for clarity, warmth, and open uncompressed dynamics.
• 4-Knob Layout: Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup, positioned so you can blend them seamlessly in the middle toggle position.
• Push/Pull Coil Taps: Each tone knob splits its respective humbucker into a true single-coil voice without dramatic volume drops.
• Two-Piece Zinc Bridge: Heavy-mass bridge with brass saddles and studs for maximum sustain and string-to-body energy transfer.

While standard Core 594s use stock production tonewood combinations, Wood Library models are custom-commissioned runs ordered by select dealers who visit the PRS factory in Stevensville, Maryland, to hand-select woods directly from the PRS vault.
