This used Taylor 814 Builder’s Edition Blacktop represents the perfect blend of modern innovation and classic tone. Built with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top, this Grand Auditorium delivers a beautifully balanced voice—clear, articulate highs, a warm midrange, and a rich, controlled low end that responds effortlessly to both fingerstyle and strumming.

As part of Taylor’s Builder’s Edition series, this model features refined comfort enhancements including beveled armrest and cutaway contours, chamfered body edges, and a satin Silent Satin finish that feels incredibly smooth in the hands. The blacktop aesthetic adds a bold, contemporary twist to an already elegant design.

This guitar has been gently used and remains in excellent overall condition. There is a small cosmetic nick on the top, clearly shown in the photos, but it does not impact tone or playability. Otherwise, the instrument is clean, well cared for, and structurally sound.
