A central 3-way mini-toggle switches between three distinct operational modes:

• Spectra (Multiband): Compresses high, mid, and low frequencies independently. This prevents low notes from over-triggering the compressor and choking high-frequency detail, delivering an exceptionally transparent response that retains pick attack and clarity.
• Vintage: Emulates classic analog stompbox compressors (like the Dyna Comp or Ross). It provides a warm, colored squish with pronounced pop and sustain—ideal for funk, chicken picking, or classic rock.
• TonePrint: Unlocks TC’s digital ecosystem. Load custom artist presets or use the TonePrint Editor on desktop/mobile to deep-dive into hidden parameters like threshold, knee, crossover frequencies, and EQ curve.

Control Layout

• Sustain: Sets the amount of compression applied and dictates overall sustain.
• Level: Controls the overall output volume, offering plenty of makeup gain to boost an amp front-end.
• Attack: Adjusts how quickly the compressor engages. Slower settings preserve the initial transient snap; faster settings tame harsh spikes immediately.
• Blend: Mixes dry signal with compressed signal for parallel compression, keeping natural dynamics intact under heavy compression settings.
