Vicente Carrillo is a seventh-generation luthier from a family of guitar makers in Casasimarro, Spain, whose history in the craft dates back to 1744.

• "Gabriela" is one of the top models from the Carrillo workshop, and it is sometimes noted to be named after the luthier's mother.
