Used Vongon Solarfaze

The Vongon Solarfaze is a stereo audio processor pedal that combines 3-band saturation/distortion with an envelope-controlled detune chorus.

Housed in Vongon's signature CNC-milled solid walnut enclosure, it bridges the gap between a guitar dirt pedal, an end-of-chain stereo studio saturator, and a synth sound-design tool.

Core Architecture & Sound

• Stereo Multi-Band Saturation: The core Saturate circuit splits your incoming signal into three distinct frequency bands (Bass, Mid, and Treble). Each band runs through soft-clipping waveshapers with independent Drive, Level, and configurable center frequencies. This lets you push heavy distortion on the low end or mids while keeping the highs sparkling clean—or vice versa—without losing note definition.
• Envelope-Modulated Stereo Detune: The Detune engine creates a wide stereo dimension by pitch-shifting the left and right channels in opposite directions. It features dynamic envelope tracking, meaning the intensity of the detune/chorus opens up or narrows down based on your picking dynamics or incoming signal volume.
• Full Stereo & Line-Level Support: Accepts instrument-level sources (guitars, basses) or line-level signals (synths, drum machines, studio mixes).

Key Features & Controls

• Band Controls & Gain Modes: Offers global input drive padding (Soft / Boost / Heavy) alongside individual Drive and Level sliders for Bass, Mid, and Treble. Center frequencies can also be tuned across 5 selectable points per band.
• Effect Reordering: Allows you to swap the internal routing order between Saturate → Detune or Detune → Saturate.
• Built-in Noise Gate: Includes an adjustable threshold gate to tame hiss or background noise when running all three bands at maximum gain.
