Used Wampler Dual Fusion

The Wampler Dual Fusion is a dual-channel overdrive pedal specifically engineered to meet the demands of modern fusion players. It was developed in collaboration with guitar virtuoso Tom Quayle, who is known for his incredibly fluid legato and "sophisticated" gain tones.

Because fusion requires both clarity for complex chords and infinite sustain for legato lines, this pedal is designed to be highly articulate and "open."

The Two Sides of the Pedal

The Dual Fusion combines two of Wampler’s most popular circuits, but they have been tweaked to Tom Quayle’s specific preferences:

• Channel 1 (Vintage): This side is based on the Wampler Paisley Drive. It provides a mid-forward, "throaty" overdrive that is very touch-sensitive. It excels at bluesy textures and adds a "singing" quality to lead notes.
• Channel 2 (Modern): This side is based on the Wampler Euphoria (specifically the "Natural" or "Smooth" settings). It is more transparent and "Dumble-esque," offering a wider frequency response and a smoother, creamy gain structure.
