The Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box is a hyper-accurate, component-for-component recreation of the legendary Foxx Tone Machine, a sought-after 1970s octave-fuzz used by artists like Billy Gibbons, Peter Frampton, and Adrian Belew.

True to its vintage inspiration, it is as much a visual statement as it is a sonic one.

The Aesthetic & Build

• Velvet Enclosure: The most striking feature is that the metal box is covered in thick, orange velvet (a purple version was also released). This mimics the "shag" look of the 1970s originals.
• Vintage Components: Warm Audio sourced NOS (New Old Stock) Fairchild 2N3565 transistors—the exact ones used in the original circuit—along with germanium 1N34A diodes and premium film capacitors.
• Size & Layout: It is quite large and "unfriendly" for modern pedalboards. The input and output jacks are often reversed compared to modern standards (Input on the left, Output on the right), and the controls are mounted on the side/front.
