The Vela represents a historic moment in the PRS legacy—it was the company's very first foray into an asymmetric, offset body shape. It’s elegant, distinct, and a total departure from the traditional PRS silhouette.

For this incredibly limited run, PRS swapped out the standard mahogany body for solid Black Limba, left completely natural to show off its striking, variegated wood grains and deep, smoky streaks. Sonically, Black Limba delivers a warm, deeply resonant mahogany-like voice but punches through with an added dose of top-end clarity and instantaneous note response.
