The PRS SE Hollowbody I Piezo merges the organic warmth and resonance of a hollowbody instrument with the drive, sustain, and versatility of a classic electric guitar. Built with a fully hollow body construction supported by an internal center block, it delivers open, rich acoustic tones while maintaining control over feedback.

Dual Acoustic & Electric Tonality

The standout feature of the SE Hollowbody I Piezo is its hybrid sonic capability. At the heart of this system is a PRS Adjustable Stoptail Bridge featuring six individual piezo saddles, developed in collaboration with LR Baggs. Coupled with dual PRS 85/15 “S” humbucking pickups, players can effortlessly switch or blend between crisp acoustic textures and aggressive magnetic humbucker tones.

• Independent Volume Control: Separate volume knobs for magnetic pickups and the piezo system allow precise blending—from 100% classic electric humbucker output to shimmering piezo acoustic tone, or any mix in between.
• Dual Output Options: Dedicated outputs let you route magnetic pickup signals to an electric amp and piezo acoustic signals directly into a DI or acoustic amp.

Construction & Playability

• Resonant Hollow Body: Built with a Maple top featuring Flame Maple veneer and a Mahogany flatback body with cream binding and a shallow violin carve.
• Comfortable Neck Profile: Features a 25″ scale length multi-ply Maple set-neck with a Wide Fat profile, paired with a 10″ radius Rosewood fretboard and signature PRS Bird inlays.
• Reliable Hardware: Nickel hardware including PRS-Designed tuners and an adjustable stoptail bridge for precise intonation and tuning stability.
